This sweet girl was a family that was new to my studio in Texarkana. She had come to me as a referral from another dearly loved local photographer, Kate Silva with K8 Photography. At first, mom had decided to pass on her newborn session - but after a couple weeks, she messaged me back to see if I could still fit her in. Of course, I said YES! I have a maximum number of newborn clients I take every month so that I can give each client the attention they deserve, but sometimes I make an exception like this one! Boy am I glad I did, look at how perfect this sweet girl was for her newborn portrait session?!

As you can see sampled here, we used tons of color during her session. The yellow themed was all of our absolute favorites & complimented her beautiful skin tone so very well. Baby Harper was a little over 4 weeks old when she came to the Texas newborn studio for her portrait session. I’m always asked the best age for newborn sessions. I always prefer ages 14-21 days - but as you can see here, even as they get a little older I can still get all those perfect baby poses!

I’m sure Harpers mom will agree with me that making the decision to come was the best decision she could have made. She went home with beautiful memories of her precious baby girl & was able to hang artwork all over her home. Harper, thank you for getting your mom to bring you to me haha! I can’t wait to have you back for more milestone sessions as you get older.
