Originally this little newborn boys mama had schedule maternity portraits at my Texas studio. One month prior to our scheduled session, preeclampsia presented itself in such a way he had to be delivered early. Though he had a multi week stay at the NICU he was still able to make it just in time for some beautiful portraits! I always tell my newborn parents to not stress out about their portrait session if they end up having a NICU stay - because I can still get you those beautiful images even though baby may be older.

It was so fun to get to know Adrian’s mom & dad! AJ had the sweetest personality already & made sure to give us plenty of smiles. We used blue as the theme of his session all throughout so there would be cohesion as mom & dad decide which poses to print on their canvases. Mom works at an eye glasses store here in Texarkana so of course we had to do a set up with baby falling asleep in glasses watching a basketball game. LOL!

I just absolutely love sitting around getting to know my clients during their newborn session at the Texas studio. We always share laughter & joy as we take turns cuddling their new bundle of joy.
