Since I was a little girl, the importance of documenting life was instilled in me. And now, I get to be a part of helping you do the same.

Hey, I'm Chessa & here's the short version of my story:
My father was a photographer years ago and my older sister is currently a photographer in Springfield, Missouri. I have always been interested in photography because I want to be able to cherish memories of my family for years to come.
In 2013, my older sister graciously gave me her old Canon DSLR! I did several free sessions at first to help me learn how to use my camera and how to pose the subjects I was photographing. I spent countless hours reading books, articles, and blogs along with watching video after video to help me learn more and more. I then invested in a studio light system and haven't put the camera down yet! After 8 years, I still continue to learn new techniques to ensure my customers get the most out of their portrait sessions with me.
I thoroughly enjoy not only photographing your family but also getting to know YOU until I feel like you are family to me. I have a wonderful family of 9 that have been supportive of my endeavors and even help me during sessions. I look forward to meeting you and your beautiful family!
