Consultation & Booking
Once you have decided to book with Helms Photography, & your booking fee has been paid, we will get our calendars together & book your family session. I will give as much guidance as needed as to what colors to where. I also have plenty of locations to chose from as well as indoor at the studio - so no need to stress about it! Let me plan it for you friend.
It’s Picture Day!
There are always so many questions about picture day & what to expect. My biggest advice is to relax & don’t stress!! At Helms Photography studio we do everything possible to help you plan & make everything perfect and stress-free. If you are feeling stressed about your upcoming appointment, feel free to schedule an in person consult. This will help me hear your vision & plan based on your goals putting your mind at ease.
Proofing Gallery
In 1-2 weeks after your session, you will receive an online proofing link where you will get to decide which images you would like to purchase. My packages include 5 or 10 digital files, but don’t worry you can add more if you are in love with them! Once we get your final selections, we will then be sure they are fully edited before sending you the download link to your email. At this point we can schedule in person consults for any product you would like to add.

The last thing you need to be worried about, is where to have your Texarkana family portrait taken. I have spent years scouting out the best locations & testing during different times of the day to know exactly where to go at what time of day. So let me take that stress from you mama! When we schedule our session, I will message you a few days in advance letting you know which location is ideal for your appointment based on your goals, the time of year & the time of day. This website is FULL of samples. Even better, if the weather doesn’t cooperate, I have a full-service studio in Texarkana Texas that is always an option for a great timeless family portrait.
