Welcome to the Studio

      Helms Photography was birthed in my living room and over time I was able to convert what was an attached garage to a full-service studio. As of December 2021, I was able to move into my first commercial space. I have spent countless hours searching for the most unique props and client closet items. I strive to provide each person that enters my studio the most individualized experience possible. My exclusive client closet has countless gowns for maternity & family sessions for mom as well as an assortment of beautiful dresses for girls of all ages & white button ups for boys in every size. I have spent the majority of my 8 years perfecting my craft in my Texarkana, Texas photo studio and ensuring I have the most knowledge possible with newborn safety.       Unsure of what products to put in your home? No need to stress! I am prepared to help you plan your artwork & guide you in what would be the absolute best fit for your wall space. I also will help you pick which images would be cohesive on your wall so that your walls tell a story. When photographing your session at my Texarkana photo studio I keep this story in mind and make sure that you have the perfect images to choose from.      Sometimes newborn sessions can take quite a bit of time, but no need to worry about food as refreshments are always available to help hold you over until meal time! Worry about your kids? No need! I have toy box full of toys they are welcome to play with while they are here. For those with tablets - I do have Wi-Fi available so I can connect you when you arrive! I have raised 7 kids of my own so I assure you kids do NOT bother me nor distract me from capturing your beautiful portraits at my Texarkana photo studio for babies. Before the rise of COVID began, all toys as well as props used regularly (including clothing & blankets) have always been cleaned and sanitized after every use. Did you know that hair & makeup is offered as an add-on to any session? The artists studio is less than 5 miles from me OR for a small fee she actually come to us here so it can all be done at one place. We strive for a luxury & stress free environment. I pay attention to every small detail to ensure you are provided with the most exceptional portraits of your family to be cherished for decades. 

      My clients favorite part happens 10-14 days after the session with your in person reveal & ordering appointment. This is the best part where you get to come see all of your images for the very first time on the Reveal Wall & you only buy what you LOVE! Even better, you will get to go home that same day with the folio prints & digital copies without having to wait! (Additional products ordered take less than 4 weeks to arrive.) This time can be emotional but not to worry - I will help guide you through the entire process and be sure you get the best advice possible.
