This resilient little one underwent open heart surgery before reaching a week old, and I'm truly grateful that the parents chose to proceed with capturing his newborn moments. Initially, he resisted the idea of drifting off to sleep, displaying a noticeable case of FOMO (fear of missing out, lol) as he was keenly aware of his surroundings. As an experienced newborn photographer, I embraced the spontaneity of the moment. Take a look at these captivating images that beautifully showcase his expressive and sweet eyes.

Eventually, he eased into a peaceful slumber, allowing us to capture some truly enchanting images. His perfectly round little face had me absolutely captivated. Beyond the joy of cuddling these precious ones, one of the highlights of these sessions is the wonderful conversations I have with the parents.

During this particular session, I had the pleasure of reconnecting with the baby's mom, whom I had attended college with years ago. It was a delightful opportunity to catch up and share stories about our lives since our school days. The genuine connections formed during these moments are as heartwarming as the images captured.

One aspect of sessions that I absolutely love capturing is the hands of the parents. This is particularly meaningful for those who may have had a challenging night with minimal sleep and find it difficult to go all out in terms of preparation. I make it a point to include these poses with both parents and siblings.
